Farewell Willy, farewell Dad, farewell winemaker!
Our father Willy Michellod passed away on January 27th 2023 at the great age of 87.
He ran and developed the Cave le Bosset with passion for 30 years from 1971 to 2001, before handling over the company to his daughters and sons-in-law. From his retirement until his final years, he was always on hand, happy to contribute to the life of the winery by helping out with bottling, wine delivery, reception and tasting. Sharing his passion and helping others was his reason for living. An impromptu visit from friends or customers to the winery was always a source of great pleasure for him, and an opportunity to create new friendships.
Thank you Willy, thank you Dad, thank you winegrower!
We will continue to perpetuate the wonderful things you have passed on to us by giving our best, both in the vineyard, in the cellar, and in welcoming visitors to the wine cellar. Because cultivating altruism gives life all its meaning.
